Comment by Carrie Rothburd on February 23, 2012 at 11:55am I would love to learn more about your work. Although I live on the east coast these days, Portland, Oregon, still feels more like home. Which tribe are you working with? I recently completed some work with one of the PNW's tribal think tanks. Share in more detail one-on-one?
Comment by Julie Watt on February 23, 2012 at 10:29am Nice to see a post from Carrie. Since Dec., 2010, I have migrated from infrastructure grant writing including renewable energies technology to working on staff at a Pacific Northwest Tribe as one of their grant writers. Federal grant season is killer, but it's all good.

Comment by Carrie Rothburd on February 19, 2012 at 5:28am Hi. I guess we're a very small group. I've written proposals for several tribes in the areas of domestic violence/tribal court development, tribal member enrollment, cultural preservation/development, and natural resource protection/management. I've also read tribal proposals for IMLS. Happy to help in any way I can, although I don't dip into discussions much though. Can we get in touch outside of this discussion? Carrie
Comment by Julie Watt on December 13, 2010 at 6:36pm I have a background in block grants for housing infrastructure costs on tribal lands. I may be picking up a new client who is looking for funding in the arts (cultural / dance). Thought I should join this group.
Would anyone else share their background and interests?
We're a small group. It would be great to get to know more about one another.
