Hi, I'm new to this site as well as grant writing. I'm working for an visual arts nonprofit in Solano county and finding myself in a bit of a funding donut. Solano county seems to be too far north east to be considered "Bay Area" or even "North Bay" for many of the funders and we are struggling to fit into the geographic boundaries for the Bay Area. Can anybody offer any ideas on how to get around this? Your thoughts would be welcome and appreciated.

Welcome Patrick! It just so happens that I'm a grant writer in San Jose AND volunteer administrator for the Filipino American National Historical Society's Santa Clara Valley Chapter. I'd like to offer my knowledge and experience both as a grant writer and someone who is involved in historical preservation. Let's talk off-line further. My e-mail is rpmuriera@yahoo.com

Look forward to speaking with you soon!

Aloha!

~Ron

I'm new this site, grant writing and this group obviously. I work with the San Jose High Historical Project and have established a small museum in our high school. I am looking for advise and guidance as to securing help in navigating all the grant information to help our small project. Any advice is welcome.
