Thanks for the warm welcome! I will keep my eyes peeled for the NJ Professionals and Child and Family Services Supporters Groups as I get myself acquainted with the site. There appears to be wealth of information and resources available on this site and I look forward to networking with other professionals in the field.  I would welcome the opportunity to meet in person and learn more about the Monroe-based meetings.  Feel free to email me the next time you are going to be passing through New Brunswick.

Thanks for the welcome!  I do have a question about the numerous websites and news services available for funding alerts and searches.  Curious if you or other use anything of CD Publications?  They seem useful and appear to offer opportunities that I haven't heard of in my other lists, etc., but do sort of wonder if they're just another business packaging the same information in a different package.

Hi Melanie,

Thank you for the warm welcome.  A few of these groups look very good and I look forward to joining more.  I look forward to the conference ...if I could only make up my mind about the power point I am preparing.  Oh well...it will be finished...too many good things to include.

Thank you Melanie! I look forward to learning everything I can. I will definitely look for the IL Grant Professionals and Primary/Secondary Education Supporters group. It sounds perfect for my area of grant writing. I will go look for this now!

Thanks, Melanie.  I look forward to learning more about grant writing --
and to picking the collective brains with much more experience than I
possess for guidance and recommendations when navigating in the non-profit and grant writing worlds.  Kidsbridge is a terrific organization and TCNJ has been very supportive by providing museum space on campus as well as the Education students and professors getting involved as volunteers and in gathering data to provide "proof" of the program's effectiveness.

And I will consider joining the NJ Grant Professionals group.  I first need to get a sense of what grant writing is all about -- and if I'm any good at it!

Thanks for your encouragement.  --Meg
